Cream Biscuits recipe

1/2 cup + 3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup (1/2 can) Nestle cream
2 cups all purpose flour
sugar
glaced or bottled cherries, halved (optional)

Beat together first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Stir in flour and mix well with tines of fork to make a soft dough. Cover and chill in refrigerator until firm enough to be handled
On a floured board, roll out dough to 1/4" thick. Cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter. Sprinkle top with sugar and decorate with cherries or any appropriate substitute. Bake at 350F for 15min or until done but not brown. Cool, store in container until ready to serve.
