Fried Spare Ribs Lee Kum Kee Style recipe

400g spare ribs
3 stalks spring onion, sectioned
1 tbsp dried shallot, finely chopped
1/2 red chili, diced
4 tbsp cornstarch

Seasoning Mix:
2 tbsp LEE KUM KEE hoisin sauce
1/4 tsp salt
4 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 egg

Sauce Mix:
2 tbsp LEE KUM KEE hoisin sauce
2 tbsp water
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp white vinegar

Cut spare ribs into rectangular pcs and marinate with seasoning mix for 30min
Mix marinated spare ribs with cornstarch. Deep fry spare ribs in hot oil until cooked. Drain
Saute red chili, dried shallot and spring onion with 2 tbsp oil. Put in fried spare ribs and stir well with sauce mix
