Fruits in creamy custard make for delightful tartlets
Fiesta Yema Tart
1 pack (40-50 pcs) uraro
Yema:
1 can 168ml condensed milk
1 pack 125ml del monte fruit salad cream
2 egg yolks
3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup fruit cocktail syrup
Topping:
1 can 850g del monte fiesta fruit cocktail, drained - reserve syrup
Combine ingredients for yema. Mix. Cook over low heat with constant stirring for 30-45min or until mixture thickened or coats the spoon
While still warm, spread 1-2 tsp yema on uraro. Top w/ fruit cocktail
50 pcs.
Tip: Use heavy pan/ carajay for cooking the yema or use an improvised double boiler. Set a stainless bowl over a pan of simmering water. Hold the bowl while stirring the mixture and cook until desired consistency
