Pinya Burger recipe

300g ground beef/chicken
1 can 234g DEL MONTE crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 ripe saba bananas, boiled, grated
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Combine all ingredients except eggs and bread crumbs with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp fine salt or 1tbsp rock salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Mix thoroughly. Form every 2 tbsp of mixture into patties
Dip both sides of patties in egg, then in bread crumbs. Fry in oil until brown. Serve with DEL MONTE banana or chili ketchup

Saba bananas serve as meat extender


Soak cut fruits like bananas and apples in pineapple juice or syrup. This will prevent browning or discoloration.

Use syrup from canned fruits for marinating, making sauces, adding flavor, preventing discoloration, and removing unpleasant odors.
